Description
The Exo Terra Digital Combometer is a combination device that can help reptile owners monitor both temperature and humidity levels in their pets' enclosures. It's important to note that different reptiles require different amounts of heat and humidity to stay healthy. For instance, the ideal temperature for a bearded dragon can be too hot for a crested gecko, and the humidity needs of a crested gecko differ from those of a uromastyx.
That's why it's crucial for reptile owners to monitor temperature and humidity levels in their pets' enclosures. An analog thermometer or hygrometer might not provide the most accurate readings, which is where the Exo Terra Digital Combometer comes in handy. With its probe and digital display, the combometer provides more precise information on the state of the reptile's habitat.
The Exo Terra Digital Combometer also comes with a programmable minimum/maximum memory setting. This feature allows reptile owners to keep track of the temperature and humidity fluctuations that occur over time. To install the combometer, simply use the hook and loop fastener that comes with it or slide it into position on top of the Exo Terra Compact Top or Linear Fluorescent Top. With the help of the Exo Terra Digital Combometer, reptile owners can be confident that their pets are living in a habitat that meets their specific needs.
Instructions for Use:
To gather temperature and humidity data from different areas of your reptile's terrarium, place the probe of the Exo Terra Digital Combometer on either the basking or cool area. For more accurate results, it is recommended to use two devices, with one placed on each end of the enclosure. This will help you monitor the temperature and humidity gradients throughout the entire terrarium and ensure that your reptile's habitat is properly maintained.
Battery is NOT included — device requires one LR44 AG13 A76 button battery to function.
