Description
Adult pair Madagascar Hissing Cockroach in this group are around 2"+ in length. Unlike Blaptica dubia, these roaches can climb smooth surfaces. Hissers have the same diet as dubia roaches: vegetarian diet.
Hisser adults are more hard bodied and only make good feeders for larger animals like monitors who have the jaw power to crush them.
Depending on the quantity, orders are shipped in a plastic container or bag. When storing, please use an escape proof container as these roaches are excellent climbers. To contain them, use a sealed container with small ventilation holes (screen) or use petroleum jelly (thick) around the inside rim of the container as a barrier they do not like to climb across.
Sorry, we do not ship Madagascar Hissing cockroaches to Florida or Hawaii.

i got sent 3, they all arrived well. i was worried because one wasn't moving but i handed him a carrots and he came back to life! if you're worried that they're not lively or even alive just give them some food, they're probably hungry
I needed more hissers to replenish my colony after a crash and ordered several. Every single one arrived alive and quickly.
The hissing cockroaches were very well packaged and arrived quickly. They all looked healthy and were larger than I expected. Thanks so much for the roaches!
Hisser: Adult Pair (Large)
I ordered 5 pairs of large adult hissing roaches and they arrived alive and healthy, ordered to restock my colony and they are doing great.
Healthy great looking roaches. Fast shipping.
All were alive and well and had babies in transit ...
Ordered a pair and got 2 pairs. The container the hissers were in was not taped like the other containers so they were out in the shipping box, they also decided to chew through the bag to get some of the roach food I ordered so it was out in the box too but it wasn't that big of a deal I dumped it into another bag.
