If you require nighttime heat, you can use one side of the lamp for the day bulb and the other side for a ceramic heat emitter!
The Mini Combo Deep Dome Lamp Fixture allows independent control of each dome with separate cords and in-line on/off switches.
Ectothermic reptiles rely on external sources such as the sun for warmth, as they are unable to produce their own body heat. They utilize this heat energy to maintain their bodily functions, digest food and stay healthy. Therefore, heat lamps are necessary to provide the heat required by reptiles.
Instructions for Use:
To use the Zoo Med Mini Combo Deep Dome Lamp Fixture, screw in the bulbs securely into the sockets and plug in the cords into outlets or timers as needed. Test the on/off switches to ensure that each bulb turns on. Place the fixtures on top of the mesh screen covering your terrarium with one fixture above the basking area on the extreme right and the other on the extreme left to create a healthy temperature gradient. Turn on the fixtures to use.
